A very quiet, family & dog friendly caravan park, very suitable for people contract working locally too with our Luxury super pitches, see the site map on the rates page. Situated in a peaceful rural setting, through large coded entrance gates down a long private road with the horses in our surrounding fields, and the River Sense. Walking distance to the historic town of Atherstone and our pretty little village of Ratcliffe Culey.
Two well-maintained toilet/shower rooms for those who do not have on board facilities, (Please bear in mind we only have the two toilets and two showers during busy times of the season).
RECEPTION SHOP Selling fresh crusty bread, free range eggs, milk and local produce.
Lovely large laundry room with one large industrial washing machine and dryer (coin operated), plus a kitchen area & sink for washing pots up.
All pitches have electric, hard standing, unlimited water supply and all pitches have drainage. (see the map & details on the rates page).
After you have pitched check in at the reception. Fresh Milk, free range eggs, local produce plus fresh crusty bread.
Footpaths lead along the river bank and across the fields to the pretty village of Ratcliffe Culey and The Gate pub (half a mile away), serving good home cooked pub food.
Atherstone town is a 15 minute walk or 5 minute bike ride away, and offers lots of shops, restaurants, take-aways, antique shops, church, an award winning butcher and an excellent bakers shop. A pleasant day could be spent browsing the shops and admiring the medieval architecture of the Market Square.
Nearby Sheepy Parva, where there is an attractive Italian restaurant with patio overlooking the lake, serving great food.
Our local village pub, The Gate in Ratcliffe Culey, does lovely home cooked meals. Only 10 mins walk away. Book early!
The site offers lovely walks to our local village Ratcliffe Culey or Atherstone town.
Bring your bike! great bike rides into the villages and the town. You could bike to the Battle field centre for a tour and lunch, then pop your bike on the steam train to Shackerstone station for a cream tea. The gated road to Mkt Bosworth is a must on your bike. Beautiful countryside.
We are very popular for the NEC events throughout the year. Twycross Zoo ,Drayton Manor Park and the Bosworth Battle field center is very popular.
Towns within a 20 mile radius include Atherstone, Mkt Bosworth, Nuneaton, Tamworth, Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Hinckley, Leicester, Coventry, Litchfield and Birmingham.
